RESTORATION OF AN OLD INK STAINED PHOTOGRAPH

A photograph of a vintage Chris Craft speedboat racing across Long Island Sound was damaged by careless handling and became covered with ink spots and numerous scratches.

The photograph was carefully cleaned from dirt and dust and as much of the paint splatters were removed before a high resolution photo scan was made of the photograph and those damages that could not be repaired on the original were digitally retouched.
