RESTORATION OF A PHOTOGRAPH FOR A DOCUMENTARY FILM
The image on a small medallion was the first one identified to be of Josephine Carlisi, one of the victims of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire. It was carefully restored for HBO documentary film "Triangle: Remembering The Fire" dedicated to 100th anniversary of that tragic event.
Particular attention was given to preservation of the authentic look of the antique image while careful reconstruction of the facial features brought back the appearance of a young and beautiful woman who, among many others, tragically perished in the fire on March 25, 1911. |
