Henri Matisse as you have never seen him before.

Grey New York skyline, isn't what first comes to mind of any true art experts and aficionados whenever the name of Henri Matisse is mentioned? And here he is, the great master himself, relaxing on a rooftop with the view of Queensborough Bridge and the Roosevelt Island in the background, on the photograph taken in 1930 by his son Pierre.

The print suffered horrible chemical deterioration cause by having been slapped to a piece of common cardboard with non-archival glue by a disreputable framer.

The photograph was carefully cleaned and retouched to remove all signs of deterioration. On the request of the client a 25in by 35in fine art print was made to be framed by famous Eli Wilner Framing Company for display in the lobby of the building where the photograph was taken.
